Rohan15: Possibly GoGamer?

sheepdragon: Do they even ship outside the US?

Which is why I said it. =)
Today's Steam screwup appears to be X3 Gold, which has disappeared from the daily sales list.

I must buy Winterbottom and Thief quickly then or maybe they will remove them too. :D

There will be hell to pay if they remove them before I get home from work.

Surely one screw up a day is enough for Steam? Ah, who am I kidding? Buy 'em fast!
Bah - they don't want my money. Guess i got too many deals.

Was it a screwup or another case of them selling too many and running out of Keys? (I seem to remember that happening with Prey during the Holiday sale)

Maybe, but you can still add it to your cart for the non-sale price. I don't know if that's standard for games they run out of keys for (they might warn you later in the buying process).

No, I don't think they remove games they don't have keys for. Flatout had that problem (got the keys mere hours ago), and people was complaining about just buying it and not getting a key right up to when the keys got available.

Same happened for FUEL. I got that when the "Codemasters Racing Pack" was on sale, and it was several days before enough keys were available for all the copies they sold. In the case of X3 I think it is more probable that the publisher pulled a 180° on the sale.
I finally bought my first steam game. Bioshock. I'm now done for the sale.
I must say that the purchase method is quite odd. You login and confirm through paypal but then click purchase confirm backin the steam client. The dumbest part was steam asking me if I wanted to install the client update and restart steam midway during a transaction process. Idiots. Good thing I was allowed to decline the update.
I'll look at the EA discount and GoGamer, and I just realized that X3: Gold is 13 bucks on amazon. : /

Maybe they changed that practice after people got pissed about it?
Also, is PB Winterbottom better with a mouse + keyboard or controller? Both Steam and XBLA have sales for the game.

PB Winterbottom is a Steam-only game (except XBLA), isn't it?

It's decent...I've played the same game in a flash format and I must say...it probably is only worth $2.50, thought the graphics are quite charming.
