I only buy Steam exclusives on Steam and so far this sale has been very disappointing for me in that regard. That's probably because I own most of them though.
I'm hoping for a Last Remnant sale, of all things.

I really want Half Life, but only 33% off is no way Valve. You can do better!
Strange, it was a 24h deal just a minute ago, now they switched it for Left 4 Dead 2.
Same price thou...

Jericho is very fun. It got a lot of flak for being uninspired, and a boring, linear shooter. Well yes it is a very linear shooter, and the squad mechanics are rudimentary, but it is a damn solid shooter. It's almost on rails, since the paths from start to finish for most levels are a one-way traffic, but it feels damn solid. Furthermore, the special abilities are really fun to mess around with.

I concur - and Weclock and co. should know I'm no big fan of Steam too.
By the way should I get Overlord Complete, or just Overlord 1 and its expansion pack? From what I heard, Overlord 2 < Overlord 1.

but seriously, i would wait until the last day of the sale to get anything that's not on the 24hour deals. i'm waiting for the witcher myself, i'm almost certain it will be even further reduced.

Had a quick shufti at Avencast, and the controls are a little clunky for me, but it plays decent. Got spanked by the red and blue fighting trees branches because I was trying to work out how to use the inventory...looks well worth the few quid ^_^

really? i've heard the other way around. apparently the second is less buggy. i've yet to finish the first though.
i've found overlord to be pretty fun. it never really grabs you to the point where you're wishing you could play it when you're not, but it's a good jaunt for a few dollars.
