Flash news, even GOG games you buy are not your own, they are and remain the property of their respective authors / publishers, just like any other entertainment purchase you could ever make, boxed or digital.
Also, not sorry to say you are a hypocrite in your claim.. You HAD to create an account here to purchase the Witcher games too, and your purchases / downloads are TIED to your single account on GOG, just.. like.. with.. Steam..
I suggest you consider getting a Nintendo console with no account sign-up to link your purchases to, but whatever digital item you buy is locked to the device, and lost as it fries.. That would help you putting things into perspective, about "retarted" policies.. And complaints!
