Hi,i just want to know where the info is located that would tell you when you buy a game if it is steam redeemable,i prefer to download and install my games through steam to reap the benefits with my friends and also so i can gift a game key to them as well.

I have looked at a few games on gog but it always seems to say the game is for gog download, not key redeem

many thanks

None of the games you can get here are Steam redeemable. Sorry.
no, no steam here
All games on GOG are DRM-free, no Steam keys at all.
Nope. DRM-FREE goodness.
GOG doesn't sell Steam keys. They only sell DRM free games
I think he understood... ;p
Sadly none.

Hopefully some day when we buy a game, it'll be one key for all and we'd simply have our own choice of which platform we use :)

I think you've gotten the idea from all the other posts. What I'm wondering is, what gave you the idea that GOG sold Steam keys in the first place? That's more or less the exact opposite of what they stand for, so I'm curious as to why you thought that would be the case. No criticism implied.

Oh, you can get a Steam key for Unepic, but this is the only game, and you'll have to register the a key on the unepicgame.com first.

lol i know m8,was in a hurry and registered for the free torchlight ! thanks gog !!!! anyway i do buy games and prefer steam keys and this is why i asked as i was looking for some deals on games to buy but couldn't see anything relating to steam, again thank you guys.
@PaddyBoy: You can actually add GOG games to your STEAM Library.

Just open STEAM and go to your Library. Look at the bottom left hand side where it says "+ Add Game..." Click that and select "Add A Non Steam Game...".

And if you want to go more in depth with this process you can even create or download what are called STEAM Grids. Basically they are banners for your Library for Non-STEAM games. If you're interested in this let me know via PM and I will tell you how to do this. +) Good Luck Mate!
