About time Sony started grabbing some advantages!

Seriously, it's a pretty big (or annoying?) blow to the non sony owning/loving console fans. The last console I had was in the glorious 32bit era, but this still ticks me off somewhat.

Can't really blame Sony for grabbing this, but I think it's pretty poor of Atari to announce such a thing one month before the game was supposed to hit the shops and after they have spent a lot of energy promoting it to everyone (not only PS-owners).
Seems to be a PAL-only deal, though. If that's the case, they're certainly promoting piracy by releasing 360 and (I think) PC-versions in some parts of the world but not others.

I don't blame them, Microsoft have been doing it far too long already. So good on Sony playing them at their own game for once.

From what I've seen, this is currently in Europe only.
Apparently it will still be coming out on the other consoles, but they will be published by Atari later on in the year.
SCEA would be smart to try to do the same.

Why would people celebrate something like this? How does anyone, except big companies, gain anything on this kind of stuff? It's business practices like this which makes me detest the console market, and sadly it's influencing the PC-market as well these days.

Here's hoping they will use the extra time to put an extra coat of polish on the remaining versions. I still intend to buy this once it gets to the PC, provided good reviews.

I'm not affected, so obviously I couldn't care too much. Sony is stupid if they're going to give themselves a home advantage over it though, it'll cause a great deal of dislike to the brand name to anyone who isn't already a sony fan. It's not going to generate more sony fans.

Yeah it seems that its only for PAL regions. Ahh fuck em I say, it's not like they're important like we americans.

It's because Sony is getting pounded by Microsoft, because Microsoft is swooping up all these exclusive deals, hurting the PS3. Doesn't Sony deserve at least one title with benefits exclusive to them?

Exclusives are generally only good for the holder of the exclusive. :|
