Sorry, does anyone having a troubles sending a messages on forums now? Looks like it endless freeze at "Please wait Proceeding" state. Editing a message neither work. Or its something on my side?
Ok, as it work here perfeclty, could be any idea why it doesnt work this way in some forum subsection?

Just sent you a message saying "Test." without any issues. Seems to be a problem on your end.

Were there any problems with the text? This sounds a bit like when you make a forum post with a broken quote. Rather than giving up and informing you of the error, it assumes that it hasn't received the full post and just waits until you close the window.

I wish they would just suck it up and bring in somebody from outside to code the forum, or use something that's been in use elsewhere.

No need to be sorry, it's a known issue that broken quotes cause the system to hang at "Please wait Proceeding" when it should produce en error message to give people at least a hint what the problem is.

I hope it'll be addressed within the side-wide rewrite.

Happens to me from time to time as well, my post will show up but the massage box keeps looping Please wait Proceeding. So it's possible that your message has been send :)

In case it could be of any usage - my working try after 20 minutes of triels-n-errors was cut half of message (weird enough keeping one with broken link), send it this way, and then somehow C\P original message as edit. Sound weird anyway.

This forum was developed in house and they haven't gotten to the point where they're willing to admit that they don't have the resources to do it properly. You weren't here when people figured out that you can embed scripts in the thread titles and redirect people wherever you like.

That was fixed, but it boggles me why they didn't see that coming. You're always supposed to sanitize your inputs.

I forget how long it took me to realize that the problem was a broken quote. I always assumed it was my connection.
