Her motto of not going to Rehab won her three Grammy's . Maybe she felt she lived enough for a lifetime but I'd trade in three grammy's and actually go to rehab instead of recording the song and living by the lyrics in it.

RIP Winehouse.

On one level dying so young is sad, but then again she did do that to herself. It's not like this piece of news came as a surprise.

Whitney Houston are Bobby whatever are just as big (or worse) train wrecks and they're still alive.

Now in theory, don't take massive risks over and over again is a pretty wise thing to do, even if you do it's not a guarantee of early death (nor do all drugs seem to screw you up equally, alcohol and meth seem to be the 2 most destructive in my experience).
