Definately great addition to GOG catalog. Wishlisted for now as I still have the retail version, metal covers and all that jazz. Definately would recommend it for anyone who hasn't played it yet.
Well shit, didn't expect this. I'm glad it's here now, even though I have it on disc. Always nice to see RPGs set in different settings.
I also didn't get one when SS2 was released a few months ago, and this had to be the largest release they made in recent years, at least since Planescape and Balduars Gate. And I'd consider Rayman Origins a large release too. It's the youngest game from one of the big publishers available here. I don't see a pattern in this.

Anyway, there's no reason not to give out such a notification for every new release on GOG.
The releases which are games I bought on Steam 5 years ago for $5 are kind of bummers, honestly. Especially when they're hyped.

Don't get me wrong, good game that I will get in a sale someday to have "GOG style," but not exciting.
Outstanding release today!

I just played this game earlier this year and really enjoyed it. The visuals are very nice for its age with great art direction and the Asian theme was a wonderful departure from many other RPGs. It is highly linear but this works here where it is very focused on its story and characters who I came to really like. I played the path of Open Palm or "good" and can see how this offers some good replay value with another run through as closed fist which is not truly evil but more, being a hard ass type of guy in the game.

This game leaves out some typical things for RPGs like gear upgrades and loot in favor of skill upgrades which come rather slowly I thought. It felt streamlined for console in a way to me but that isn't really a criticism. Being different does not mean being bad, you know? I really thought it was quite good and I really enjoyed the story and how it all turned out. I liked the music too. It is nice the GOG release includes the soundtrack. That is a good bonus.

I would have to agree if this release was being hyped. I guess I missed that. (I wasn't on here much yesterday or the day before)

I got one (first one actually) with Wizardry. Didn't get one for Chaos Overlords, even though I had voted for it. Haven't received one yet for Jade Empire.
I guess it depends on you having voted for the game on the wishlist, and possibly the game having more than X votes.

True, but this one didn't get that much hype. 1 forum post mispelling Tuesday and one tweet mispelling it as well. Nothing else.

Yes but this is a nice release for those of us who aren't Steamy.

You must have voted for the game. I have only received this once before for a game I had voted for.

EDIT::::: Heck, when the Lucas Arts games are brought here I expect to be buried beneath "Your wish has been granted" e-mails.

Yes, and I'm one of those Non-Steamy + Anti-DRM consumer.

simbo82: Awsome game but does anyone know if this has gamepad support?
Yes, I played the Steam version with MotionInJoy + PS3 pad.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Yeah, even a little "hype" like a tweet about "Tueasday" is meaningful, perhaps too meaningful, to me. I was expecting something extraordinary being resurrected, not really something that could be bought on Steam for even less during the summer sale.

But a lot of people seem happy, and there were a lot of wishlist votes for this, so that's important in my book.
It's remarkable how releases such as this one create different reactions from country to country.

I bought JE: Se boxed, with soundtrack, 3-4 years ago for equivalent of 3 dollars. So I'm not that excited.
It's awesome gog!

Now - hit me with KotOR. Please.
