Indiana Supreme Court just made it legal for police to enter your home without a warrant, and literally without any reason whatsoever.

I don't know what context the last clip could possibly need. Incredible, and incredibly awful footage.

In no way whatsoever is there any context to those videos that justify the police brutality seen. You can't be that fucking stupid.

And there is no context in which that kind of police brutality is justified. All the officers in the last segment were fired. Try not being so easily cowed.

Ridiculous. There will never be any justification for inflicting so much physical damage on effectively defenseless human beings, regardless of what it is they might have done. I agree with your sentiment but find it misguided in this instance. I'm not biased against the police force, but I cannot support needless violence. Even if the people getting beaten "deserve" it.

No context is needed. Those actions were taken by authorities under no threat to themselves or anyone else. Doesn't matter if the beaten prisoners had previously broken the law. They offered no resistance and posed no threat. Doesn't matter that the guy who was thrown from the car was escaping authorities. He was unconscious, if not dead, when they pummeled him.

When people have mortal authority over us, they damn well better be balanced individuals. I respect law enforcement and for a few years my job put me in regular contact with multiple agencies. There are alot of good cops out there. There are alot of bad cops out there. Some are just rotten to the core. Others don't hesitate to risk their live to save another. Its a mixed bag. Doesn't mean we should ignore the bad. Doesn't mean we should focus on it either. Just means we gotta acknowledge a rising problem and question that which allows this to continue.

Sure these are just a few clips. But they are few of a great many. In my region of the country (Western Washington) the cops have gotten especially out of hand. We are currently suffering an epidemic of crazed cops. A number of incidents resulting in death of innocents. And numerous uncalled for beatings. It's gotta stop.

You keep clinging to that word like it's relevant. There is no context in which police brutally beating anyone is justified. Not that hard to wrap your head around.

When I see a video like this, I look at it as a good collection of events that we can look at and say "this should not have happened" with moderate certainty. Usually when I hear about these types of events it does tend to sound like the issue was with an individual, rather than the police force as a whole, and in general I sympathize with cops about as often as I do the public, because both have the potential to be awful.

I do. Your lack of knowledge of police regulation, law, conduct, et al. is your own problem. Anyone who sees this and says "well...it's not he whole story" is automatically incapable of grasping any of those articles which are actually relevant to all of these situations. The whole damn story doesn't mean shit, because what you're seeing are civilians being brutally assaulted by police. The rest of the story doesn't matter, unless it's to hear the officers were fired and sent to prison.

And you can scream bias and preconceived notions all your want; I'm right, and at this point you're just trying to get in the last word.
Legal, regulatory, and moral certainty. Not that hard to find out these things.

No, I said they made it legal, not law. Go back and review the role of the Supreme Court, or any Constitutionally appointed federal court by Congress over the last two hundred years.

Wrong. Law Enforcement officers have lethal authority. They are only given this power to enforce the law and to protect citizens. They can't beat someone to punish them. The cops are purposefully restrained when there is no threat to themselves or the public. The video is clear. They went too far. It doesn't matter what crazed the cops. There were No threats posed. And these were not simple misunderstandings. These were cops issuing punishment. Cops aren't supposed to issue punishment. The court of law is for that.

And since you're so focused on context here, then fine. In what possible way does knowing the rest of any of these then justify the severe beatings of these civilians?

Aren't allowed to issue punishment. There is a significant difference here where the meaning of those two terms are concerned.
