Hey, guys. Did any of You had a problem with Windows 8, in that one game of the pack worked perfectly, but the other ones didn't want to play (read: They kept crashing)? How can this be fixed?

Can you be more specific? What games?

Also you may want to contact GOG support directly. They are very good at helping with these issues and even have a money back guarantee if they can't help you fix your problems.

Did you download the games recently? I had some trouble with games on Win8 because I was using my old backuped installers that I downloaded before GOG added Win8 compatibility.

Yes, I did. I redownloaded Medal of Honor War Chest on my new laptop with Windows 8. And there I got this problem - Allied Assault works fine, but Spearhead and Breakthrough crash upon being turned on. Changing compatibility for the file didn't help.

Sounds like compatibility problem for me.

Does it give you any specific error on crash? Or does it just directly crash back to desktop?

I do not know. The console turnss off before I can read it.

The games simply do not want to turn on. That I know for sure.
