This might be of interest to some people here, especially those who don't have Postal 2 yet.

Running With Scissors has decided to do two things. First, they put Postal 2 onto Greenlight. So go vote for it if you want to help the devs reach a larger audience on Steam.

The other thing they decided to do is viral marketing. If you spread the word about their Greenlight page and let them know then they'll give you a Steam key for it if Valve accepts the game (they'll give you a Desura key if it gets rejected). More information here.

Postal 2 was in a groupees build a bundle as an extra game. It was distributed via desura. I'm sure some people would like to get the game on steam, but i'm sure most gamers have heard of Postal 2 by now.
Just to note but:
EDIT: This offer is going to end at 15:30 GMT on the 29th of September. At that point I'll post in this discussion, and gather any names of those that have helped out, and prioritize who will get the Desura and / or Steam keys. Thank you very much for your support everyone! :)

EDIT 2:

Okay guys that about wraps it up! Thanks for the support. This is how it will work:

Anyone that has already posted in this discussion will in the end get a copy of P2. This will either by on Steam (if we are allowed to freely hand out Steam keys) or Desura if we are not. As promised before, those of you posted in multiple places and to high profile groups will get the keys before the rest, and will also get a Desura P1 key.
So those new to the thread - the offer is over!
I stopped contributing in Greenlight when figured out game devs like to delete negative (non-offensive) comments about their game.
Pointless game. Why would I want it on Steam?
But isn't Postal 3 on Steam, so why would they need Postal 2 greenlit? I'd assume they have some sort of relationship with Valve. Unless the sheer crappiness of P3 shattered that.

According to them they had nothing to do with Postal 3.

I already have Postal 2 here so... meh.

Devs can do that? I would think you'd need to be a Steam mod or something.
Well, I wrote several comments about how Uprising 44 is a bad game. All of them gone.

I saw some other posts just saying "I don't recommend voting for it, it's very bad" and they are all gone.

I don't think Steam would have any agenda in it, but maybe some Polish fanboys have...

But I would blame the devs. The game is so bad, nobody wants to publish it, so game devs are pretty desparate.

To be honest, I know that all-too-well. I bought it on GOG. I think it was later that week it was added as a bonus to Be Mine 3 :/ So I double-own it myself - and I haven't even played it yet :p

Postal 2 - one of the three games that got a big fat zero rating in Computer Gaming World.
Was it really that bad?

Postal 1 fans consider it bad, but overall rather fun game if you GET it's humor and parody (not violence)
