MrWilli: Never heard of him. Is he a made up god? Also you could always transported to a different dimension against beings of unrivaled strength.
No. He's a Forgotten Realms god from after the Time of Troubles(After Bhaal dies.)

Anyways do you play any tales to tell about hilarious and/or epic moments.

Landeril: Though, my last campaign was my retirement.(My level 20 character ascended and became a god. Kinda blows out any more campaigns)
Meh, I’d likely go on a crusade to isolate or destroy the other gods so mortals can be free to shape their own fate without interference.

Specific questions about the WoD Darkness games:

Vampire:
1.Exactly how tied are you to the setting in Masquerade. Will changing elements of the back-story lead to an exceptionally large amount of retconing be consistent and will the mechanics work against you if you wanted Caine to be an entirely mythological figure.

2.How well does Masquerade handle building a unique character and is Requiem an improvement in this regard or a step back. Does one Brujah or Tremere play like the next?

3.How troublesome would it be insert the Tremere into Requiem as a clan with specialized bloodlines?

4.Which game would you be more likely to describe as being more “modular”.

Mage:
1. How would you compare the magic system here to the default one in D&D 3.x.

2. I’m note a huge fan of the idea that technology and magic actively hinder the use of one or the other. Is that sort of thing prevalent in this series.

3. Again, how troublesome is it the change any single plot point or mechanic?

My thanks for any dark tutelage that you may provide. :P
Master Foobar

Havoc did that

1: You can either choose to be part of three groups. The Camarilla, who call themselves noble, and call Caine a myth. The Sabbat who seeks to destroy the masquerade and feed freely, subjugating humans. Or the Anarchs who believe it is the Vampires free choice.

2: They both play pretty much the same. But, Every character is played different. For example, my tremere relies heavily on his clan discipline, Thaumaturgy, the blood magic.

3: pretty difficult

4: Depends on what you mean

Mages:

1: Its all more specialized.

2: Not at all.

3: Not very depending on the GM(Game Master)

A Suggestion: Look here: All you need to know WoD

Well I'm back and my character is still alive! So basically here is what happend:
-The rest of the PCs and NPCs set out to destroy the gnoll camp and possibly save me.
-When the PCs and NPCs got there they divided into two groups and one taking the high ground and one doing the main assault.
-The high ground forces got to the top without much worry besides a gnollish ambush.
-So the high ground forces(the PCs) let out three volleys of arrows killing some of the guards around me. I use this opportunity to burn out of my knots and run like crazy towards the PCs.
-Now there are eigh gnolls we fought, so it would be easy right? Nope, I got knockd again, our dwarf got knocked out, and the elvish assasin got knocked out twice. Thankfully our cleric was there to save us. So we nearly got slaughtered by a buch of gnolls.
-So after that battle all the gnolls were dead, since the main assault force killed the rest of them, well there was the one gnoll archer but he is unimportant since he is, well, dead.
-So we looted the corpses and went back to the tavern for our payment. The end for our first quest.

You sound quite bored. Not a lot of true action. And your Dwarf and the assassin sounds like pansies. Do you want to hear about my first quest?

Oh I just woke up. Seriously i was excited as hell and was scared that we would die. Also the gnolls were getting really lucky with their rolls, the dwarve got hit by a critical hit of 12, after dr, and the Assassin was unlucky as well. we seriously had some fun and I got 120 gold out of it, without counting loot. Also we had a warlock and an elvish something (i forgot what was his class) so they had to protect those guys. And we were all level one except for the dwarf, who was level 2.

Can you tell me your first quest?

MrWilli: Can you tell me your first quest?
Lets see. First the Party

I played an Elven Ranger, Tempest Build(Dual Wield). We had a Cleric, A Druid, Two Fighters, A Paladin, A General Mage and a Necromancer. Total of 8 PC's

We did the usual "Dark Castle". First, I should say, my favored enemy was Undead. Castle was full of them.

We get to the first room, and get hit by a zombie ambush. Two staircases, three doors, minus the one we came in. Zombies from all five entrances. Our Cleric, Paladin and myself stepped up and cut a path to a room that had only one door.

With Me, The Paladin and one of the Fighters are the entrance, our mages casting support buffs and the cleric healing her little elven arse off, We managed to hold off the ambush, until the zombies were gone. After that an NPC Paladin joined us. From there, We headed up the stairs to the second floor.

Shall I go on?

MrWilli: Snip Snip
Up the stairs we went. Around the corridor were a bunch of Skeletons, Archers included. At this time, We have no idea wtf is going on(6 level 1's and 2 of us at level 2[Me and the Paladin). So we just set up our normal formation, Fighters to the front.

Basically something like this: Me, A Fighter and the Paladin in the front. In the middle were the Mages and Druid, at the back was the other Fighter with a bow, and the cleric

The Mages and the Druids focused on the Archers, while the Paladin, and Fighter took down the Melee types. Myself, I took a look at the situation, and went for the door. Turns out, the Skeletons were spelled to instantly revive on death until someone touched the door.

Inside the room was the final boss. A Level 4 Necromancer, with 3 Melee Type Skeletons(Each at Level 3).

The Paladin, and two fighters charged the Skeletons. The Mages, Myself, The Cleric and the Druid went for the Necromancer.

After killing the Druid and one of our Fighters, we finally managed to take the crazy wizard down.

Its not always epic dying. Sometimes the fun is knowing your team enough to survive. :P

Trying getting with your party members, learning each other and discussing your moves. D&D is a hell of a lot more fun when you work together.

I have died...Squished by an ogre's ass tbe...poor Elf.

Yeah I know it is fun when you survive we have an online group different areas and besides in the game, we hardly meet to discuss moves and learn our strengths and weaknesses. Also you got squished by an ogres arse. O.o How does THAT happen?

Also have you heard of the system minisix?
