I didn't take it as hate, more just amusing prattle.
Developers and companies without the money and ambition to start their own service do love Steam though, for obvious reasons.

But... but... I want my revolutionary in-game nachos! This is unfair! I am very disappointment.

These guys are very. very good at witty marketing. No wonder Old Man Murray loved them.

Are the Cold War era munitions in-game?

I guess I would find this funny if they had more than one franchise.

It's just a shame that the weight of those munitions means that it's not going to be eligible for free delivery from Play.com. I hope it doesn't make it too expensive. I mean, sorry, but no Serious Sam game is going to be my game of the year. I'm only willing to pay so much, dammit.

Part of the gaming experience. They carpet bomb your neighbourhood. Given the precision of the cold war era carpet bombings, you'll probably be safe, although the closest town will be obliterated. You will get full stereo soun though

Ah, so that's what happened to Stoke. Some silly people were trying to convince me it was supposed to look like that.

Didn't say anything about the quantity and calibre of these ammunitions. There is some difference between a 16 inches shell and a .25 needle bullet. However, given the current sale on Russian 122 mm artillery shells, free delivery might indeed not be warranted

Apparently it's a 'random Cold War ballistic munition. May contain traces of explosive powders and substances. Conforms to EN71 Toy Safety'.

that's a dangerous development because if Origin takes off, i'm willing to bet that Activision, UbiSoft and THQ would follow suit with their own client. they always copy each other anyway.
