Don't know what the game is about? Psychonauts is an action-adventure platform game created by the very creative and not less twisted mind of one of the industry's greats - Tim Schafer. You play as Raz, a young boy with great psychic talent attending a psychic summer camp. Your quest is to solve the mystery of the kidnappings and to do that you'll have to enter the minds of other camp members and battle their nightmares. To this crazy concept add great script and awesome level design and you get a helluva ride!

The game is only $2.49 until Thursday, February 24 at 10 a.m. EDT.

My thoughts exactly (& believe me.... I don't even have any money at the moment, so it isn't like I am getting any benefit from it).

Roberttitus: My thoughts exactly (& believe me.... I don't even have any money at the moment, so it isn't like I am getting any benefit from it).
I won't see any benefit either, I won't be here tomorrow or most of friday so I'll probably miss it if there is one.
I was thinking though, they could just offer Zchinque a single title heavily discounted so he can fulfil his promise. Maybe they could generate a 75% off one use promo code for him or something.

Pity GOG have stopped this, I was looking forward to more flash promos. Been checking for the last three hours, so it isn't happening after the comments above. Will see what sales appear this weekend.

TheEnigmaticT: I mentioned in the first flash promo that we'd be running 'em for the month of February and then analyzing the results to see if it seemed like they were worth keeping as a regular thing.
So when do we find out the results of the analysis?

I'm guessing you made more $$ on each of those games than their totals for the previous month. :)

Of course the question is if it is canibalizing future revenue, and if people will hold of buying the games at normal price to wait for a sale if this becomes regular.

Me too. I wasted 2 breaks at work checking the site, sinc ethey said :just check on wednesdays". and the one day I do, nothing. What a load.

Well I'm still holding off on buying any Black Isle Studios' games until they have a really good sale on them (50% or more off).

But there's also a lot of games I would have never purchased if not for the sales, such as Tropico, Patrician, etc.. I've even tried said games and don't like them (or can't be bothered to figure them out...).

So.. ultimately I think they should continue the Wednesday super sale. I think a lot of people will pick up titles at that time that they otherwise wouldn't even try.

Ridiculous, like the others I'd been checking the site several times yesterday looking for the Flash Promo. Never saw anything about it being only considered through Feb, all I know is I saw that it was clearly advertised that THERE WOULD BE ONE THIS WEEK and there wasn't. Just plain wrong to advertise something and then fail to produce...

Can't show you anymore because GOG edited their advertisement so that it's no longer there... But the original Psychonauts promo stated that they would have another Flash Promo this week.
