Thanks :)
I guess I'm doing okay if we do the whole game/days comparison, even if I know I've bought a bunch on impulse I could have very well done without - I may not even ever play some of them.

My going rate is roughly 1 game every 5 days if I average it out. Most of them were acquired somewhere in the middle of that five-or-so-years period though since I practically bought none in the first couple years, and I'm definitely reigning in my game spending as of late.

Thank you! ;p
Since I cut back over the last couple of years, I'm finally back to only one game about every 12 days. For a while I had 1/3 of the entire GOG catalog.
I'm at about 1 for each 12 days. Just did the count and I was thinking, "Okay, when the hell did I buy so many?!?" as I scrolled past 100 installers and eventually reached 135. Since a whole mess of those contain multiple games, it's probably closer to 200 individual titles.

Holy crap.

On the upside, I had the home page open last night as the wife walked up behind me and asked if I was going to buy another game. And she wasn't accusatory! Whew!

Edit: that doesn't count gifts so it's really 1 or 2 fewer days between purchases.

Ouch, now you are in a position where you have to create a party (a tribe ?) to kill your monstrous backlog.

Stooner: Thank you! ;p
You're welcome.
While I do get more than 1 game/day, a very large portion of those are from bundles, where I don't intend to play most of the games. But at least I have them, and that means that i'm on my way to winning the game game (whoever owns the most games win ;) )

xckx: Just noticed I have been on GOG for 442 days (signed-up on Nov. 13, 2012) and have 442 games.
Probably a bit too much. Oh well.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.

We'll host an intervention any day now.

Or not.

Watch out for shiny things. Like Gem promos.
I have...not enough games. You can't have enough games EVER!!!
But i have enough games from GOG. There are only a very few left i consider buying if cheap.
Lucky me there are new releases and other sites with DRM-free games not on GOG.

I've got one every ten days; I've got a few from giveaways and some on grab-it-for-free promotions, but I've done a few giveaways as well so it more or less evens out.

On the plus side, I'm unlikely to keep up my old pace because I have a massive backlog that contains almost everything that I want from GOG. What I lack, I can wait to go on a deep discount.

You have anything better to do than showing off?

How is it showing off? And I do have something better to do, like giving away free keys. (post 11)

A lot of people show off in this world but I was wrong about you. Sorry, I feel like an asshat now.
