Bump for the newbies. (Should I stop doing this?)

I would like to see Nocturne and Revenant mostly. Nocturne I cant get running on my new system and I have misplaced the movies disc that comes with Revenant :(

Would also like to see the first 2 Thief games and System Shock 2 on GOG. They are a chew to install and get running right, having to modify exe files to inhibit CPU cores etc.

Would be cool to be able to just install them without having to use command line switch instructions for installation and then just being able to start playing without having to go into the task manager once loaded and disabling all your CPU cores except the first one or it crashes.

Some of the old Lucasarts adventures would be good to see, Indy Infernal Machine & Grim Fandango spring straight to mind.

Elder Scrolls prior to Morrowind
Ultima 9
Heavy Metal : Fakk 2

There's a lot of games that I'd like to see on GOG, but one title just bugs me.

No Shadow Warrior? Why?

Nearly all of the 3d Realms titles are on GOG, besides this one game. It never was licensed to any other publisher than GT Interactive, as far as I know. It's perfectly playable under DOSBox. It's even sold on 3D Realms website: https://www.regnow.com/checkout/cart/view !

There are other 3DR/Apogee games which could arrive on GOG (Terminal Velocity, Commander Keen series, the first 2 Duke games), but SW is the one most puzzling for me.

Also, Epic (Mega)Games' stuff. Thanks GOG, for Unreal Gold and UT, but why you won't sell us Radix: Beyond The Void, that cool Descent clone? Or Jazz Jackrabbit, the epitome of 90's PC platform game?

And to end my begging with something quite obscure: Strife. Make it happen. I know you can do wonders, GOG Team.

Thanks for reading this.
Can we please, please, pretty please sticky this thread?
WarCraft 1&2 would be great, you can't find these anywhere anymore, and there are no digital editions, either.

also: Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. is that the hardest to find game in history or what?!? the Empire Earth games are already here, and this is basically #4 in the series.

Thanks. I'm thinking a bump every twelve hours since the last post (if that's required and if I remember, of course, lol). Does that seem fair?
I can bump it on a morning after kids go out to school, so about 8.30 am GMT with being in the UK, then I would say someone from the USA does it later in the evening possibly. Should give the 12 hour gap roughly.

If I remember, I'll check the latest timestamp (of the last post) to see if it's been at least 12 hours.

Solved
Yeah there is a fix for it, one bat file that can be changed for Thief 1 & 2 and also System Shock 2 which modifies the exe file to turn off all the extra cores in modern CPU's. Found out all the stuff a while back and posted it up on HEXUS (I'm Ferral on the HEXUS boards):

Was just thinking though an installer where you can just double click and once installed start the game without any messing. To install the game you have to run setup from the run command with a switch so it would be setup.exe -lgntforce (not 100% sure if the spacing is right there as havnt installed the game for a while now) This removes the OS check so you dont get a cant install on Windows NT error.

There can be graphics errors also on Thief 2 mostly, blotchy 8 bit (256k) style visuals on light sources. There are a few fixes to sort this issue out but it requires a bit more work.

Just read through what you have posted there, essentially the same as my 3 links. Handy that its all in 1 place and also sorts out the graphics issue

Bumping this for new users :)
Some games I would love to see get the GOG treatment are:

Fire & Ice
It Came From the Desert
Golden Axe
Speedball II
Turricain I & II
Uridium
Zool I & II

and all of the Pinball games by Digital Illusions aka DICE

Damn! I seriously live in the past.
