I think so. The first gift was probably showing up as taken because I was on the redeem page. It was redeemed almost 20 minutes later by someone named santos00.

I did?? When I clicked on that it said code already redeemed...

EDIT: Whoa!! I checked my games list and it IS in there! Heroes of Annihilated Empires!!
