Reps are not importand for as long I'm able to enter the high reps for giveaways. It just pisses me off that just becouse of an infant asshole I'm not able to enter those!

lol seems I've missed some fights, argues and drama from the past 6h or so. Funny how people get mad over free codes... I can understand if you get mad when same people ninja grab stuff but why would you attack each other over stupid things?

Can some mod please say something or set a rule in this thread? It has become a place of flaming on each other which is the no1 no no in every forum. If you don't like random people getting grabs open a GA thread....
The forums seriously need some serious reconstructing. I don't feel posting anything any more cause of the troll level reaching a certain level.

Its totally fine and harmonious but when one or two people, won't name names, start pointing fingers and accusing even when they are right *which should get a PM to a mod instead* and making this a bad place.

I saw a lot of cheer here as well and 99 percent of the people here are great.

However, having read back through the last few pages, I have to point out that we are left to police ourselves for the most part - and thusly situations like this will happen.

I think most of us can take care of ourselves....just when anyone is free to down rep does the resentment set in, its a stupid system that only rewards trolls and I hope to God that GOG sees that. I am tempted to get a petition into Escapist Magazine and have a Jimquisition just about this situation, Jim Sterling seems like a GOG fan.

I only get pissed when there are people who are only negative and lump every downrepped person together as a scammer or a troll or both and its discrimination really. rep serves no goddamned purpose and it needs to go.

What really really bothers me and what I think bothers most people is that downrepping is a silent way to flame someone and tell them they are an unperson, to be more vulgar 'a gay piece of shit that needs to die and should get out of the forums' rep can shame a person to leave and if they aren't harming people than thats wrong

Agreed - getting rid of rep wont solve anything though, but the system need a fucking overhaul for sure.
They're aware of it, but like i said: we have to police ourselves.
No idea who he is, but I doutb it would do anyone any good (GOG in particular of course), but then as Escapist can't get basic fact right about some projects I've been involved with, I cannot have an unbiased opinion (and no, due to NDAs I can't say which projects either).

He is a British guy who is kind of large who lives in the US now and is a consumer advocate of sorts. He does funny videos about important things and has an asshole monikor. If he did one about this shit I guarantee you GOG would rethink rep seriously the next day.
