niniendowarrior: I'm not sure there's such a bullet proof algorithm that works. I mean you could factor the rep system based on whether the person giving is a high repper to stave off the spam 0 rep givers... but even that creates its own biases. I just think making a positive rep only environment could simply encourage a certain outlook from the forum members.
I'm suggesting more that there's are vastly superior ways to do it that could turn a majority of currently problematic cases into non-issues and giving a better overall customer experience rather than eliminating all perceived problems for all people in a bulletproof manner. People will always exist that try to take advantage of any system and find its weaknesses and exploit them to their own advantage. It's possible to design systems in such a way that can avoid common pitfalls and attack/abuse scenarios, as well as incentivizing people to be co-operative good citizens so to speak.

Yes and no, gog doesn't always update it as it's used.
