YogSo: I'm not 100% sure, but I think it may be possible to run both MoW games without launching Capsule. But nevermind, it was a temporary giveaway some time ago, same as today's one. The games are back to their normal prices.

And about ARMA II, I'm quite sure that one does require the Capsule launcher. But there's a somewhat "free" alternative: ARMA2free. Google it if you are interested. Basically, it's the base game, minus the single-player campaign, and with low-resolution assets. Good enough if you want to try some multiplayer action (and ARMA II has a thriving multiplayer community, so it may be worth to get a taste of it).

lugum: i know they were past giveaways, but if every game would need capsule then for me there is no need to continue the signup.

thanks for the info though and i am sure wouldnt mind it.
All games don't require capsule.... i've been launching trine directly, although once in a while it requires activation to play....

lugum: thx maybe i will try anyway.
By the way, I've finished downloading and installing the Commandos 3 game. I've tried launching it while the Capsule client wasn't running, and before letting me play, a process has started to connect with the Authentication server. It's been automatic and very fast. The next time I've launched the game, no authentication has been needed, but as mshashankr has said, I think it asks for it again every few days.
