i think many are too spoiled with the newest games to still appreciate the old.

AFnord: If it was a $6 game going on sale, then it would have been a bit of a no-brainer to actually pick it up, and see what the fuss is all about, but as a $10 game, I can either chose between that or a good high quality french hot dog, and I don't know which one would give me the most enjoyment. I'm not really a shooter person to begin with.

Licurg: Postal 2 is worth every cent. The main appeal of the game is the humour, not the shooting part.

N0x0ss: I'm afraid of the cultural barrier... I don't even know the black midget they talk about in portal 2... and they have multiple references about the american culture I'm not familiar with...
The very specific ones aren't really that many. For example, you have a mission where you have to go take a piss on your father's grave,and then some rednecks hit you in the head with a shovel, and you wake up in a S&M suit, and you have to get out of a foundry or something. You can still enjoy it without having to know it was (loosely) inspired by Pulp Fiction.

Gary Coleman is mostly known as the star of a mid-eighties sit-com, Diff'rent Strokes. But seriously, you already know enough about him. You know he's a black midget, and you know the game is making fun of him. There's really not much more to it.
