Theta_Sigma: ^_^ Figured it out, the code was for Bad Rats, took some doing to figure out which was which. I am an old hand at morse code so second go I got it. Thank you for the game... :)
AXFRH-ZY2WP-2WQVW <<< Incidentally that was the code. Woo never thought I'd get to put old knowledge like that to use. Also thank you for a great brain bender...
andreadandrea: wow you really do morse code? it has been ages since i heard of somebody knowing it!
are you in good old cw (ham radio)?
i used to know morse myself, but it was since ages, and even if they told me that if i learnt to do at least at 40 wpm (i did 60) i would never forget it, i'm not quite sure about that ;P
I actually have a love of knowledge, my inability to sleep has given me ample time over the years to learn a variety of cyphers, codes and what have you. Plus my overly keen interest in Sherlock Holmes from a very young age made me keen on knowing as many things as I possibly can learn.
Oh I haven't used a ham radio in probably going on 17 or 18 years. I had friends who were more adept to using them than I, but it was still enjoyable none the less. I suspect if I sat down and hammered it out, it would come rushing back.
Well I had to re-do the entire thing initially because I reversed what the X's and Y's represented. Since the initial reading made no sense, but I guess that I probably should have recognized the mistakes right away. Oh well, no harm no fowl.
