NameGoo: No, but then I've been taking the "Yahtzee approach" to games for quite a few years now (i.e. assume everything is shit from the get go), that way I'm not overly disappointed when a game isn't everything it promised to be.
To be honest I don't buy on release date.... just for the same reasons...

Neither do I, unless it's something I seriously want to play...or it has zombies in it...
