niniendowarrior: Gabe Newell once again preaches Linux as the gamer's system... well...

That probably will happen when life in Mars has been discovered.

Anyway, next week, it seems that Valve will be unveiling Steambox.

Sad. I pay $45~ and I don't get anywhere near that.

darkplanetar: reminds me of mintBox with more power

yeah, here the internet infrastructure wasn't build by big greedy corporations
Considering that the ISP here is practically the regulatory body of the country... lol.

Sachys: Actually, does anyone ven know what 3,430,708,224 GB is - I mean, thats way beyond TB isn't it!?!?! O_O

I admit I believe I understood what you were getting at -- 1 TB is only 1024GB, so I've got no idea what you'd even classify those speeds as!

I was just referring to the Warp 10 episode of Voyager. Don't know if you've seen it, otherwise my comment might be referred to as "strange." :-)

Stupid question but I have to ask anyway... to those who have Steam on Linux... if I download a Steam game on Steam Linux client that is compatible to other platforms and backup the content of that game. Can I take it to Windows and install it there or do I have to redownload the Windows version?
