AFnord: And my code was not that well hidden :P Come on people, it is a free game!
avatar
IronStar: ...or someone took it and didn't say thank you...
It is still there, I checked (if you already have a game on your steam account you can try to add the game. If it says that you already own it that means that the code is still available, if it says invalid code, that means that it has been taken)

I guess seeing the Fnords is hard for some.

I thought it sends you to install game screen even if it was taken *runs to check out*

EDIT: Indeed it does

It does, but that is after you click on "next"
21 min, without anyone grabbing the code. Did I set a new record here?

If a code has been used, it will just send you to the invalid code screen.

And someone has seen the fnords!
Yea, out of curiosity i checked that code (it was like, it's prolly taken anyway cuz it's simple) and got smt called Beat Hazard, no idea what it's but thx, i will check it :)

It is a music based twin stick shooter (you use your own music, and the game will generate content based on its beat). Pretty popular, as far as I can tell, though I have not tried it yet.

Which reminds me, I really should try to play it with an audio book in the background, to see how the game reacts

I read somewhere that game is not that optimized, and acts out of whack w/ slow song and similar...

Now I have to try it. That, and also with Jingle cats (that is Christmas music played with cat sounds)

This is something about Steam that sucks. You can't really check what game you're getting with the codes.

No body wants my fine copy of Depths of peril?

Well I can't wait around here all night, I have important places to go sleep!

It seems no one decrypted it yet. :)
I just bought Beat Hazard through the Indie Gala V, played it last week in another PC, it's awesome and love it. It's like Geometry Wars on steroids and you play with your own music, the more frantic, the better. Didn't found any problems with it and runs very smooth.

One thing though: IT'S NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH EPILEPSY! O_o
