Hmmm, trying to sleep never works, as far as I know. When I can't sleep, I just stay awake until I pass out. But if insomnia is something that happens to you often, that might not be a good idea.

Happens more than I like... and I don't like it.
But I guess staying awake is my only option right now... no alcohol, no tea, no sleeping pills (and the 24h pharmacy is far, I would sleep half way through.. ;p)

There's some The Rock's movie on TV.. maybe that will help!
