Try and watch a Red Dwarf episode called Dimension Jump (Series 4) and all will become clear. General gist of it is that the is a space core pilot (Ace Rimmer) who does loads of specialist type missions and he keeps coming back without so much of a scratch and is greeted by Bongo with that line.

I thought you were lugum's father, now you're sounding like my mother. ;)

On a saturday? No way. I'm up late since I was a baby, it's deeply ingrained into my system. My parents tried to combat it with controlling my room, switching of the fuse for my room, and similar thing, and I had an arsenal of flashlights and extension cords to go around these silly limitations. Nothing can make me sleep early. :)
