This happens so rarely that you should really take it as "intervention by fate", and enjoy the game. Imho. Though informing GOG that double redeems apparently can happen would be good.

happened before, GOG was already informed, guess it's not fixed (if they can).

nothing to feel guilty about. just go play thief and have some fun ;)
i am sure they will let csmith keep his game too. i think that is what happened last time too.
