If someone is angry to enough to launch totally unrelated personal insults about events that are way past into a discussion, then chances are that the person is currently so worked up that the discussion cannot yield anything positive.

I suggest ignoring further posts, even if they may seem to call for a reply, to give this person a chance to calm down.

No, you didn't have to thank everyone(No one was forcing you to, nor should they try to.) for their replies, but you also didn't have to get upset with those who wrote replies(While trying to be nice/kind/helpful.) that you didn't like & reply rudely to them(And then continue to obsess over it while calling those who got upset with your rudeness trolls/etc.).

Overall(barring my reply and a few others here) most here have treated the incident rather well, yet you continue to obsess over it while acting rudely to those replying to you. And then you wonder why some of us got a little upset at you for this?

Regardless of what happened then, that was the past, and I have moved beyond that(As i'm sure many here have as well.). To bring it up now and in this discussion just shows to me that you either have no class whatsoever and/or can't control your anger. If it's the latter i'd recommend you go see a good anger management specialist or meditate(It works wonders for me personally.).....and if it's the former, well then I can't really help you.

(As for apologies, well I apologized many times over for many things I did here in the past. Why can't you?)
