Psyringe: "Pacific Storm", a game from the 1C pack.

I bought the 1C pack in December for 69$, I even went through the effort of using a proxy to do so, because at that time the Euro price was at 99€. Then, recently, the pack went on sale for 20€. I was so frustrated that I promptly bought it again, to eradicate the previous purchase from my memory. Now i have some doubles to give away. ;)

I only hope that the person who redeemed it didn't already have it. I don't think GamersGate warns you about that, and people might be to afraid about losing time to actually check that.

Psyringe: I don't have trouble "accepting" that. I just think that these differences may be worth a second look if they cause unnecessary misunderstandings, like mistaking friendly advice for an attack - because understanding what went wrong might prevent such misunderstandings in the future.

Your replies to lugum and myself do not show any willingness on your part to do that. Which is okay, it's not such a big deal after all, but currently you do give me the impression that you're running into problems unnecessarily. But it's your choice, so I don't feel any need to discuss this further.

Psyringe: I am very convinced that it's not nearly as common as you might think. In fact it might be a pretty unique view. Your argument _does_ make sense on an abstract logical level. However, people do not operate on that level when they are communicating, and in case of the example, they don't even need to. People often advise others to "relax" without mentioning specific methods of doing so, in the same way as people are saying "Go over there" without mentioning specific methods of doing so. There's no need to tell someone how to put one foot in front of the other, because usually people know this. Likewise, there's rarely a need to give specific advice on how to relax, as people usually know this, it's a basic form of emotional self-management that people usually learn at around 14.

I'm surprised that you are actually debating this. I'm trying to understand which kind of mindset one would need to have to actually think the way you apparently do, and so far, the only match I've found is someone who has trouble with communication (and little actual experience). That's not meant as an insult btw, it's just the result of an analysis of your behavior (and it may be wrong).

Psyringe: I didn't say that. I was stating a fact in order to explain why hundreds of people can tell me (and others) to "relax, it's not that important" without the message being misunderstood as offensive.

And I didn't want to piss you off, just like lugum didn't want to piss you off, or anyone else who replied to you. That's actually a part of the message I'm trying to bring across. You (apparently) are misunderstanding people, see their posts as attacks, react by "defending" yourself, and thereby cause problems that are totally unnecessary, because the insult happened only in your imagination. Actually, my motivation for writing all this is in no way to piss you off, but to explain to you that you yourself would be better off if you didn't misinterpret posts as attacks.

Not all people usually know this, that they don't need to give specific advice to other people on how to relax. Not all people learn to relax on command around the age of 14. You are jumping to many conclusions based on the people you closely know. Stop. Your match, if you believe my words, is incorrect because I only have trouble communicating with certain kinds of people. With most people, I have no problem. I don't think I misunderstood any of the posts. If I did though, is it my fault or yours? Think about that instead of automatically blaming someone. Maybe you and lugum weren't being clear enough? I truly believe I did not start anything despite you and others pointing your fingers at me. I was merely pointing out the truth. How lugum's friendly advice wasn't friendly advice etc. Then things got hostile, because I see things differently from you and lugum. That is how it always starts here unfortunately, people disagree, then certain individuals throw more fuel into the fire. All the insults I saw were not in my imagination. They were written in English, in a forum, in a post. Even if the author, did not intend on insulting me, they are what they are, insults. Very very anti social way of thinking you have inside your head to think, this person is not normal because I offended him or her. Something is wrong with this person. I'm going to attack them now in posts or tell them how wrong they are. You are not accepting that people are different. No, you are not.

also you can claim something you already had (which happened to me) but you can use support and they just send the code back. they are easy like that.

Honestly, you are creating your own problems. It's almost tragic imho. There's a bunch of people having good fun in this thread, and for some reason you're the odd one out who prefers seeing insults instead. I wouldn't feel comfortable in such a situation, but you seem to be actively choosing it.

It's a bit ironic though that, while typing your response, you missed a game that I gave away in a single link, totally unencrypted, exactly in the way you would have preferred it. It went to someone who didn't spend so much time trying to justify his opinion that others are unfriendly towards him.

Anyway, I'm not stopping you from creating your own misery.

amortization = an investment has paid for itself, i.e. it has yielded the same amount of revenue that you initially invested. Basically it's businessspeak for "breaking even". :)

Oh grow the f**k up already and stop throwing a hissy fit. You got advice you didn't like(No one really insulted you from the start, and if they did it was unintentionally done after you started acting like a baby to the replies you got ITT.), so you cried about it & people got upset(understandably) as a result. Now either man up and admit your mistake and apologize or leave it be.
