Rather simple, my internet at home is very slow and not cheap.
The last year i could dl with permission from my boss. Alas, every good thing doesn't last. So the comming
monday is my last working day there....and than no dl anymore.

And i never would login there (or any other public i-net)

Heh, Romania may lack a lot of things, but at least we get decent internet connection here. For example I pay about 7 EU monthly and getting a guaranteed bandwidth of minimum 5 Mbps. Usually downloads from GOG are at 6,8 Mbps speed.

How can that be? I have Verizon FiOS @ 75 Down 35 Up and my max so far is around ~10mbps

Something good is that i will have time for playing all those games ;-)
120 from GOG alone since September last year...and countless from bundles and GG...
ahh and all the music i can listen.

Lucky ones....at home i have 7mbits....shared. Never got more than 300kbit/s dl....usual is 80-150 (AND THAT SUCKS!!!!)

in DK (and you might be able to get this if you live in Northern Germany Schnuff) we pay 25 euro a month for 40/40 no restrictions on how much you DL

Internet Speeds confuse me.
Internet in Romania rocks, rest of it is pretty crappy. I still don't know why we don't get any nice streaming services and stuff.

It probably depends on how much the national Telephone company has released for the free market and how much optic cable has been laid out I guess
