IronStar: Poor guy :(
...and so doc lost his father. This will leave some emotional scars on poor kid.
avatar
slaktarn: i'll send him a finger.... As a memory from the time when he had a father
Middle one? :D

macuahuitlgog: No I was not trying to force my way of thinking on others because I did not tell anyone to relax or be like this or that. I was offering suggestions to anyone who is interested. There was no friendly advice from lugum in my opinion, why can't you get that? Telling someone to relax is not friendly advice. Telling someone HOW to relax is friendly advice.
Prove that telling someone to relax isn't friendly advice. ;)

Heck, you coud've asked him if he had any advice on HOW to relax/asked him to expound upon his reply rather than bite his knees off.....but you didn't.

Time to party! Destroying the Delorean NOW, so I won't be able to rescue him!
avatar
mrtophat101: How do they find the time to actually play the games though, if they sit here and watch this particular thread like hawks?
avatar
IronStar: They just hoard them.
Don't we all, though(To some extent, I mean.)?

Backlog and whatnot.....etc.

Definition of advice - Opinion about what could or should be done about a situation or problem; counsel.

Advice is not telling someone to just do something. Imagine you purchase a book that supposedly offers you advice relating to making money fast. You open the book, you find one page. On that page, it says, "Go make some money fast. The End." That wasn't advice. That was the book telling you to do something, maybe assuming you already know how to make money fast. But assuming such a thing about the reader can not be justified. Depending on how you look at the definition, you could say, telling someone to just do something is advice, but then it is useless bad advice.
