Once you lose internet connection or script times out, GOG forums eat your posts, PM-s and everything else.

I'm not 100% sure for internet connection, but I've tested the script part. It just closes connection if you leave it running for too long. Or maybe my IP changed meanwhile, but it munched my message when i left it on messaging window, went to bed and replied in the morning.
You shouldn't encounter it on daily basis though.

Thanks for the explanation IronStar. For what I can recall, I was replying to a message (I didn't take too long), but when I posted the message, it disappeared. This was the second time it happened to me, the first was like a month ago.

I might look into that bit further, but problem is that it takes 5+ minutes for my cable modem to restart and I'm too lazy to be bothered.
