HoneyBakedHam: I'm going with 10... Ryan Reynolds...

I mean, I'm sure he's a nice guy, but...

Wait... You are Canadian and he is a nice guy...

No... I'm sticking with Reynolds.
No I uh... I actually do like him... perhaps a little bit too much.

I loved him in Van Wilder, Definitely, Maybe, Blade 3 (not the movie, just him in it). Waiting was decent as well, as was Buried, which is the most recent movie of his I've seen.

Yeah... if there's one guy who can turn me gay, it'd probably be him.

Don't feel bad... I'm 10% smitten with Robert Downy Jr.

But the other 90% is all Scarlett Johansson.

...and Halle Berry, and Monica Belucci, and Eva Mendes, and Amy Adams, and Christina Hendricks, and... Well, you get the idea.

I'm with ya on the Scarlett Johansson thing (has been the most beautiful and sexy gal in Hollywood for several years) and Monica Belucci (tbh, I don't get Eva Mendes, everything she's got Mila Kunis has in spades). Somehow Katy Perry has always struck me as hot as hell, I think it's how she struts around in oddball styles from the last 60 years or so and manages to make each one sexy.

I can't think of anyone else that is over the top amazing in my book (though if I took some time I probably could come up with dozens and even add more from yesteryear), though there's no shortage of people who have nearly perfect and pretty features, not all of them seem sexy to me.

I'll go 3

I think I'll pick 6
Oooh, I'll jump in!

1. I sharpened my pinky once.

2. I have a girlfriend.

3. I used to fire BB bullets at random bystanders at street intersections with friends.

4. I am short sighted in one eye.

5. I did judo for three/four years and I didn't even get a yellow belt.

6. I yelled bomb in an airport (this was post 9/11) when I was 7 because my parents told me not to.

7. I have a fairly mild form of obsessive compulsive personality disorder.

8. I pretended to be my friend for a whole day and when I had a detention in class I said my name was my friend's.

9. I always skipped PE classes, opting to play Minecraft in the school cafeteria. When questioned by teachers as to what I was doing alone, I said I had an ankle problem. I got away with it for six months.

10. I also used to skip school outings, running off with friends into downtown whenever we had to go to some crappy museum or look at some old cenotaph.
3, True. It was in 1995 in Karlskrona.

7, True. The film was Arachnophobia (clearly!). I had been bullied into taking my younger sister to watch it. Throughout the film I could feel something crawling around in my shoes, so I took them off. It was crawling around in my socks, so I took them off. I was sat in this cinema barefoot, feeling something crawling over my feet. Towards the end, when the big spider jumps at the camera, I had an epileptic seizure & an asthma attack. I was ventilated & kept in ICU for 2 days!

Gojays, I reckon it's 6.
Seems like some harmless fun. Here's my list.

1. I have traveled overseas to compete in freestyle wrestling.

2. I prefer old furniture over new furniture.

3. I hit my head on an i-beam while running full speed.

4. I have climbed to the top of trees over 100 feet tall.

5. I was born in the house I grew up in.

6. I can yodel. FALSE

7. I have never voted in a political election.

8. I have watched the original Star Wars trilogy over 50 times.

9. I have worked 110 hours (on the clock) in one week.

10. I have never broken a bone.

GoJays2025: Rodzaju... I'm not sure what to say. I'm going to guess 7. I don't think anyone can be THAT afraid of a spider.

As for me, hmm... let's see...

1. I do a lot of volunteering, almost all of it involve working with kids (makes sense - I'm a pretty big kid myself).
2. The first 2 PC games I ever owned were UFO: Enemy Unknown (a.k.a. X-Com: UFO Defense) and Pepper's Adventures in Time.
3. I used to love Sailor Moon. I'll still watch it if I see it on TV, but it's just not the same.
4. I was electrocuted when I was a small boy by jamming things into an electrical outlet.
5. My favourite candy? Gummy bears.
6. Bought an old X-Box for $25 just to play Fatal Frame II (but got too scared a couple of hours in and haven't touched it since).
7. I have never had a driver's license (I don't care to drive).
8. The only country I've been to outside of Canada is the USA (and in Philadelphia of all places...)
9. I have never had a cellphone (don't care for it).
10. I have a man-crush on Ryan Reynolds.
#4 reeks of lies.

GoJays2025: 4. I was electrocuted when I was a small boy by jamming things into an electrical outlet.
This is my guess. You would have been shocked since you're still alive. Electrocution is what happens when you die. I don't mean to beat you with a grammar baton if I'm wrong, just my reason for guessing.

prakaa: 7?
avatar
HoneyBakedHam: Wow... First try... Yes. I have never met nor been to a comics shop with Patton Oswalt.
What gave me away?
I was going to have guessed this one too ... I dunno about praka but for me I know from previous threads that you build your own computers and a lot of your other ones focused on entertainment/news people or fit in with that milieu - that one simply happened to be the most ... maybe cliched is the word? - you know the loaning someone of money for something oddball? Given that you had other entertainment/news people and places, it made sense to try to hide the lie in one of those since usually simply the meeting of/knowing famous people would typically be the lie.

But that was my reasoning, then I saw praka's post :)

orcishgamer: This is true, you know it is:)
Yep, I even danced on the bar disk itself on one occasion.

avatar
stonebro: 1. I had a gym teacher in primary school who was later convicted for paedophilia / child pornography.

orcishgamer: Since I've seen worse, I believe it too.
Yep, it's true. He got busted in a way which was sad, disturbing, and hilarious at the same time. At least it shows off how far these people will start going over time to get their "fix".

Austrobogulator: #4 reeks of lies.
Both are actually true. And I guess I did use the wrong wording for #4 there... shocked, and pretty badly too, but I didn't need any medical intervention.

I also did buy an old X-Box that barely worked just so I can play that game. I do intend to finish it eventually, when I have more time.

You have chosen...wisely.

I actually wish I could, but I don't tell people this because they give me a sideways look. Anyway, you saw right through me on the first try. Good work.
