tee-hee - another true one! Got loads and loads of em, mostly packed away in a suitcase for now (3 year old son tends to destroy em!) Favourites include a wind-up pacman and a furry wheel thing which goes like lightning!!

KyleKatarn: I thought someone might think that, and I find it surprising myself. I've had plenty of cuts (and scars to prove it, I just doctored them myself) and bruises, but the only time I've ever had to go to the doctor for anything other than a checkup was when I hit my head on that i-beam. I was racing my best friend in elementary school and winning and, being the competitor he was, he gave me a forearm that sent me flying. I turned my head and the i-beam hit me right behind the ear. I don't remember any of it, but my friends from back then still tell me (while laughing about it) that I was rolling around on the ground, blood steadily gushing from head, uttering curses that would have made a sailor proud, all while the little kindergarten kids at recess watched and school teachers were trying to control me.

At least the scar is hidden pretty well. I sometimes wonder if that still affects me in any way today. The school paid the bill and immediately padded everything up that could be dangerous. They're just lucky my parents didn't believe in suing for things like that.
I got a cut and a concussion in almost the exact same manner. A friend was behind me during a race through an outside corridor (okay not the brightest thing), I looked briefly back, turned my head to a stanchion at speed. Worse was that I had glasses so that the glasses cut into my ear. Getting the anesthetic shot into the bone below ear was one of the less pleasant experiences in my life.

I remember the anesthetic shot as well. I'm positive it hurt much more than the stitches would have without it but I do realize it makes the job easier on the person stitching by keeping me from fidgeting. The only positive way to look at that shot is that the pain is gone and now there is a cleaner scar than there would have been. Still, I hated that shot.

Yeah that was ... truly painful. Worst shot I've ever had.

Sorry just caught up with the thread. This is the lie. Surprisingly, the rest is true.

ViolatorX: Phoenix #5

Cymtyr #2

ChauncyK if I can guess again I'll take my other guess in #6
Nope, I actually fell off a 3 story roof and walked away. The rest of the workers on the job site called me superman after that.
