apexultima: Nice!....but i have no moneys :(

Same here but I should get some next week :) so it'll have to wait in wishlist until then
Im still lost in the wilderness in Gothic 2, if i ever finish that game i might try this.
Never heard of it before (or at least I don't recall it), but I might try it someday, as I like open-world CRPGs (that's one of the main reasons why I like the Sacred games, too).
To me it seems like a less polished version of Oblivion. The worst thing about it by far is the voice acting. And though that does subtract considerably from the athmosphere of the game I still kind of like it and find it worth its price. Some would also find me quite weird in that respect already having emptied the GOG.com store. Anyway I already got this one on gamer's gate and by the way ran in to the activation problem. I assume that is never going to be a problem on the GOG-version.
One of the best RPGs of recent years. I had to play it to the finish.
As long as you manage to forget about how bad the voice acting is, and use brain more than in other games while fighting (prefer a hammer to a sword while fighting skeletons, etc), actively defend and dodge enemy weapons, etc, you are going to enjoy this.
suggestion, do not fight while on your horse. I don't find it difficult as others, but you risk having your horse killed and then good luck carrying all the equipment on it.
Great game!
(I already have it from elsewhere)
Whoa. I've heard bad things about this game.
I know some people enjoy it, but I'm not willing to take a chance on it for $10.
Maybe I'll get the demo sometime.
The voice acting in this game is so freaking bad, it's comical. But if you like the Gothic series, then this is about the same, with some minor differences.

Hmmm, I am not really into These massive open RPGs ( I tend to get bored). However I have been meaning to give one a try, what should I go for:
Oblivion
Two worlds
Rissen
Gothic
Any others worth mentioning?

Risen is the best in years. Other than that, Gothic 2.
Seems like GoG must release some newer releases to get to the older games.
Or the heads of GoG really love that game....
I've heard that with this game, you either love it or hate it. I don't know if I'm willing to risk ten bucks only to find I'm one of the haters.

It costs money to run this site, if releasing this game brings in more money for them I am not going to bitch.
I think the best thing about this game is that you can speedrun through it in five minutes or so.
2007?
well that's not old. the game was one year old and 2 months when we first sign up...
Was unaware that it had 2 expansions.
