The first title from the just announced agreement with Funbox Media is not a game for kids and will definitely make you get goose pimples all over.

Realms of the Haunting is, first and foremost, a horror game, but contains an interesting mix of different genres. It's a first-person perspective game with quite a bit of shooting involved, but is also an adventure game and has some RPG elements. Finally, there are many FMV sequences on top of it all. This sounds overwhelming and believe us Realms of the Haunting is one of those few games that do a good job at blending different genres.

The story is by far the strongest quality of Realms of the Haunting - it's solid and keeps you hooked from the beginning to the very end. The presentation, despite the old visuals, does a great job at keeping the suspense up and give you a good scare when required. The free-look camera and freedom of movement result in a strong connection between you and the game.
You're not too scared to play this game... Are you?
Insta b... oooh :<. I don't have any money :C.
Thanks GOGOG (Good old good old games). Nice release.

SLP2000: Is Funbox Media the publisher that was mentioned here

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/fools/post12

?
No, actually. We have an even bigger publisher that we'll be announcing soon enough.

Not that Funbox isn't totally awesome.
WOW and here I thought I knew all the fps of that era....

This one completely passed under my radar!! And looks pretty cool too, graphics reminds me a lot of Blood\Build Engine.

Definitely on my must-buy list now, great release

Man, you really have an exciting job. Are you aware of that? :P

Well, I can't tell if it's awesome, because I can't find anything about the games they own.

The only funbox wikipedia knows is a skatepark.

And Mobygames does not know Funbox Media at all :)

As much of a pain it is not to know, it must be killing you not to tell. How about a vague, tiny little hint? Like say.... The name of the publisher is two letters; one starts with an "E" and the other ends with an "S". You know, no one would guess that. ;)
I've actually never heard of this one. I'm looking forward to figuring out what it is.

GameRager: Maybe Funbox Media is a game rights holder group...similar to one of those that sits on patents for old things people still use and whatnot. Or maybe it was a part of Gremlin and they folded up before getting big....and wiki notable.
Maybe, but that's what prevents me from enjoying the awesomeness of GOG signing them up.

They have a website, but there's not much up there.

Looks like Funbox Media was formerly known as Zushi ( http://www.mcvuk.com/news/39821/Zushi-team-returns-as-Funbox-Media ). Here's a link to the list of games on Mobygames: http://www.mobygames.com/browse/games/zushi-games-ltd/

Never played Realms of the Haunting but I've only heard good things about it, which is unusual for a game with FMV content, so I'm definitively going to check this one out.

GameRager: So? Maybe they don't want to bother making the older IPs they own compatible with newer OSs, so they signed with Gog. :\
So I still don't know much about their old IPs from their website, that's it.
