Too bad Ubisoft never listened to reason and lowered the price to 5,99$ i don't have any money this week so there's no way i will get the game later at 9.99$ a shame really, hopefully they can lower the price eventually tough i doubt it.

I'll hit you if you can pay me back. :D
Sold.
I clearly agree that this game should stay at 5.99$, no more.
I've never played any of the HOMM games, but i'm interested in picking this one up, can anyone tell me what it's like. For instance is it a strategy role player like Fire Emblem et al?

I am actually short by 3 dollars, i think i could pay you back eventually but i have no idea when exactly. My way of adding funds into paypal is rather unique (surveys) and can take awhile. I don't think anyone would be comfortable with that.

I'm a pretty cool guy, but it'd have to wait until the end of the sale for me to tell, send me an email at kyu.shi@gmail.com if you're interested.

I'll think about it.
Finally!
I've been waiting for this for so long. Now it's on my HDD.
Only the Chronicles are missing from the Heroes Saga
Thanks for the deal, GOG. I have HOMM 2 Gold on disc, and I really love it. I think I'll pick this one up because... well, I'm not sure, but I think I will anyway.
Didn't even think about it and bought it as soon as I saw it. Afterward while downloading I saw it was a limited time offer, at least we got the 5.99 price even if it's only for a week.

Didn't play many Fire Emblem games but HoMM is different. The closest thing in GoG I can think of is Disciples.

Thanks Alhazred, seems like it may be a little more strategy orientated than Fire Emblem, right up my street. Well there goes another $5.99 to the good people of GOG :)
HOMM 1 was a remake of NWC's King's Bounty . I believe King"s Bounty was released in 1988 before MWC sharted the Might & Magic Series.
Still a good game, especially miltiplayer.

Yeah, I'll have to toss my agreement in with the "I'd play $5, but not $10. Sheesh. It's a ridiculously fun game that touched off a ridiculously fun series, but the original HoMM is just... old and not worth $10 bucks. Bundled with the second game? Ok, then you can have my ten dollars. Even though I own the disc versions already. And hell, I'll even pay another ten (maybe) for the third game, even though I still have my discs of that one, too.
And now I'm starting to get a hankering to pop my discs in and play V. I never did finish those campaigns or the expansions... hrmmmmm...
Personally, I'm gifting a few to friends (unless I can convince them to get it themselves!) so we can enjoy it together. Price tag be damned, the game's fun and I don't mind playing it while we wait for the sequels (I've never had Heroes 3 with expansions! That should be awesome. Being a North American Heroes of Might and Magic fan is hard, you can't find anything).
This and HoMM 2 should have been released together at $5.99 (and the price should have stayed that way). Why? Because you can still pick up HoMM 3 complete for $10 shrinkwrapped, and HoMM 3 is pretty much the best of the series.
