With another release from the new wave of Atari titles hitting GOG.com's catalogue, we're answering another question - what game made you feel like a hero? It's Demon Stone.

[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/forgotten_realms_demon_stone]Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone is an action RPG set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms. Players take control of a party of heroic characters which include a fighter, a sorcerer and a rogue. Each of the characters have their own set of skills and require a different approach to the gameplay. The really cool feature of the game is that you can switch between your heroes anytime you need to fully take advantage of their abilities and perform deadly team attacks. Hack-and-slash gameplay and nice looking graphics are accompanied by enthralling story by R.A. Salvatore, great soundtrack and top notch voice acting. Action-RPG fans get another gem to their precious collection.
Sadly, not heard or played this one before. Will wishlist!

Really? True fact you say? Metacritic disagrees
Quite good beat 'em up no more no less

Kunovski: looks similar to Rune and Enclave (but what's with that camera looking at the heroes from right side, not from behind???), is it close?

I've also read something about horrific controls... could anyone tell me something about them? as I'm quite interested in this one :)
It's actually pretty different. It's a beat 'em up, not a third person action-adventure. You will know what to expect if you ever played The Two Towers or The Return of The King, based on the movies. I thought it was pretty decent.
Written by R.A. Salvatore?

But with the voice talent of Patrick Stewart and Michael Clarke Duncan?

And it has a dragon.

But it was written by R.A. Salvatore.

Hm.

I liked the wizard master's tower and all the enchanted moving stuff. It reminded me of Merlin's stuff from the King Arthur toon film.
But when compared with some games on GoG, its amazing.

*cough* Phantasmagoria 2. Yes, I own Phantasmagoria 2.

lukipela: Not really. It has a 69. With only 2 positive critic reviews, and only 1 total user review.

Compared to other games on GoG, I find it funny that this game is here.
Plenty of games on GOG have relatively low metacritic scores, it doesn't mean they are bad games. And I say relatively low, 7/10 is hardly rubbish.

What's rubbish is incompetent idiots giving out scores of 7/10 and calling the game below average.

Math ain't that hard.
Far too 3d for my 'old gaming' tastes :/

Looks decent though, but pass for me, not my game type.

Gamers are insane these days. If their favorite game gets a 7 or 6/10, they take it like you're insulting it. Some people won't even buy games that rate lower than 8 or 9.
People still belive in the metacritic shit ?
