BlackDawn: Manhunt :D
I must have been 19 when I played that game and I still felt I was too young for it.

I love that game, boring as it could get. If a game is going to be the same looking scenery from beginning to end I'd prefer it be that scenery.

How about Knights of Xentar instead?
Great news! He is a chip off the old block. Pretty good for a sprogger?????

Never heard of it; I'll have to look it up.
I hope we aren't getting off topic here. :D
There was this old game I played at a friend's house when I was really young, 10 or so. It was called Silk Worm, and we played co-op, it was loads of fun. It came on a cartridge, I always wondered if there's a PC port...

Jeets2: Just think that 30 years from now, on this very site, GOG will release Lego LOTR and he'll be reminiscing with the community of how he was so excited that it was the first game he finished.
And I'll be here at the age of 50 yelling at him and everyone else. :D

Congratz little man!

Can you still get Xentar? I loved that when I was a kid haha.

darthspudius: I am so proud! :D

The little sprogger (5 years) has been playing this game (Lego Lord of the Rings) an hour before bed for months now and he just came running through completely over the moon that he's finally finished it. I am so proud! :D
Congratulations! a future gamer for sure! I remember playing Doom II in my father's old pc when I was a little kid, golden times indeed.

Yes, you can get it, although no one offers it for sale. But it's available as abandonware, which is strictly speaking not legal, but currently the only option to get it at all as far as I know. Big Brother Google can help you find it (but then THEY will know what you are playing! ;-) ... but they do anyhow probably).

The horror. So much pixelated nudity... the quality of which might just scar him for life.
My kids loved that game, think the youngest was 8 when he played it though. They like the LOTR games, War in the North may be a bit beyond him...or maybe not the way he's going :)

jumbalia: That is actually a pretty heavy game for a 5 year old to complete!:D

darthspudius: You're telling me, it's not quite as easy as the other LEGO games haha.
Me and my brother played it and I didn't even pass the load game test! Managed to delete about 8% of progress because my blind old man eyes couldn't figure out whether I had load or delete highlighted! :D
