C'mon! this is unreal!... shooting the wall to install TV... god! That's why firearms must be banned for civilians. They end up in the hands of stupid people that think they are power tools. I hope they decide to press charges. Stupidity has to be paid somehow.

The primary use of cars, alcohol, and power tools is not to injure or kill people. The primary use of firearms is. Your slippery slope is flawed.
Edit: Side note: I'm pretty apathetic about whether guns are banned or not. It doesn't really matter to me either way.
