So......how will that work exactly?? Last time I checked, I don't make things blow up.

Probably put a baggy of ashes in the fireworks. So when it goes pop, ashes are spread.

I assume they just mix the ashes in with the pyrotechnical mixtures. The ashes are already burnt and thus non-reactive, so they won't make any difference to the functioning of the fireworks.
I think it's a cool way to go, although my personal favourite is having your body put into a deteriorating orbit so it burns up on reentry. Ending your life as a shooting star, that's style.

My funeral would have dancing strippers and nuclear detonations and shameless advertising (like Big Shot's Funeral if anyone's seen it).

Uhm, this IS cremation. Or more accurately, this takes place after the cremation. They just mix the ashes in with the pyrotechnics. They don't chop up the guy's corpse and strap his body parts to a bunch of rockets. That WOULD be yucky!

It seems rather fitting as this was a big part o his life. I would think the people that go will have a fun watching the finale with Tom being the star of the show.
