Daedolon: It's highly unlikely that something like that would still exist when they're unveiling their own, full priced product.
We're talking about GOG here. Their coding performance so far hasn't been exactly stellar.

bazilisek: As a reminder, there used to be a bug in the gifting system that could result in a code that never expired, but I suppose that has been fixed since.
I don't know about paid games, but I remember codes for free games being redeemable multiple times. I'm sure there might have been a bug having that behavious spilling over into non-free games.

Wishbone: Sadly, that doesn't go for all GOG customers. Otherwise, no GOGs would be on torrent sites.

The fact that there are any at all shows that not all GOG customers would refrain from sticking it to GOG.

I've seen the whole gog collection out there. Kind of went exponentially since their 'out of beta' stunt. Whether that's popularity or spite is hard to say.

Reminds me of that time someone kept emailing people for GOG files that they were missing because the torrent they were using dried up.

I remember a guy asking people for Obscure (trying to justify it with the fact that it's been removed from the catalogue). He also kept emailing addresses he found in the community wishlist. People pointed out that you can buy Obscure from GamersGate but he wouldn't listen... ._.

So we researched 'em. The games are actually bought from GOG when the sellers sell them.

My suspicion is that the sellers are getting money out of stolen credit cards, since that's the only thing that I can think of that makes sense, but we can't prove anything. Still, I'd recommend avoiding.

People should probably go through that and edit those out - now we have the official Gog PM service ;)

I hate thieves. At least CDPR doesn't lose anything.

If the payments are made from stolen credit card, the victim (genuine card owner) may then cancel the transaction, and thus CDPR (& GOG) does lose the sale after all.
