Why is he in "extensive therapy"? How did he lose his mind? The kid grabbed a manga featuring quite gory illustrations and the occasionally sexual encounter, from an area not meant for children. It's the mother's damn fault for leaving the kid unsupervised. It's probably her fault that the kid is screwed up as well, if it would be possible take her own, and whatever the child's reaction was into consideration.

I completely agree with you. The mom is just a fundie control freak. I found the article hilarious, though. "My son lost his mind when he found this" was especially funny. That's kinda dark of me, but whatever. The kid's mind got blown because he's been so sheltered all of his life, IMO.

And what's "extensive therapy" gonna do to him, hm? Last I heard, electroshocks don't do squat. But maybe she got her research from another manga (I'm sure it exists, it's just like rule 34)

Not impossible. More likely it's the fact that he's got this batshit insane mother being so overprotective that pushed him over the edge. She's clearly only interested in blaming others for her own horrible parenting.
