Anyway I decide to get it when Pikmin 3 is out so I have 2 games to dedicate time to.

Really, do they not have the infrastructure to do one game from each Famicom a day for 30 days with the final result of a library that's fairly filled at 60 total titles? It'd be a great way to kick off such a celebration.
I really want to buy the Wii-U and renew the old flames I had for Nintendo, but they're making it quite hard to even consider returning to their house, with the utter lack of online infrastructure and Miyamoto implying heavily in an interview that basically Nintendo felt that until recently, a robust online experience wasn't possible until recently.
Oh well. At least they're simply out of touch, unlike companies in the west who not only are actively connected, but actively screwing consumers.
No online Multiplayer in Metroid, Pikmin, and Zelda, no Pokemon MMO (even though that would be kind of cool if done right)
Nintendo is the only company that focuses on Making games and offline in an Industry so focused on Online gaming. In that sense, we should be glad we still have Nintendo.
