Just curious as there have a fantastic selection, however their prices aren't as cheap as GOG.
i recall that they aren't a legit shop, but simply selling abandonware. Could be mistaken though
Is that site even legit?
I very much doubt they are. Do not give your money and / or credit card info to them.

I regret to inform you that that particular website is selling illegal copies. Their TOS states "If you are the copyright holder ... and you don't want us to offer your game(s) please contact us and we'll take the ... software down immediately", which is the sort of wording used by abandonware sites and makes it explicitly clear that they do not actually have a license to sell any of these titles. To weasel out of the legal issues this causes they claim that what you are paying for is the DOSBox etc. optimisations, not the games themselves (which are "free" with your purchase). Don't give your money to these thieves; none of it will get to the designers or copyright holders.

They do have a lot of modern games now so i don't think it's just abandonware anymore. The older games are bundled with dosbox same as GOG. Think i may have to do some more digging before buying anything. Kyrandia 1-3 for a fiver is rather tempting though.
the claim not to have DRM.
i think i'd stick here. i don't trust it
Compare the prices and the look of the site / community and i'd say 2.5/10

How are they selling the modern games though surely they can't be classed as abandonware ?

You're right, it's not only abandonware anymore.
It's abandonware and piracy.
Sounds like one of the few instances where pirating it yourself is the less dodgy way to go
i looked on the forum and there aren't a lot of members on there....

i wonder if that claim works if they get a courtorder.
it's like saying : we herewith declare that we are going to shoot you , we can't be held responsable if you die.
Btw, I saw some GOG games in their catalogue. If they are truly illegal, could GOG sue these people off?

As GoG are not the rights holders of the different games they sell, no.
That site is dodgier than a lawyers' union.
