Namur: I could tell you but then i would have to...kill myself.

Well, that wouldn't solve anything.

stonebro: It's because this Friday is the 1st of May, which is Labour Day / International Worker's Day - which means you get the day off work in many countries.

You are quite correct stonebro, we had a bank holiday on Friday as well, so we had to push things our earlier than usual :)

Kaidane: Well, that wouldn't solve anything.

What do you mean ?
It would spare me the horrors of having to deal with the government (doesn't matter which one, pick your favourite) for revealing the world the truth about purple tinfoil.
And it's a much 'nicer' variation of the traditional 'I could tell you but then i would have to kill you'. And i'm a nice guy.

You want to talk about conspiracy theories, I expect there is some competition heating up between Steam and Gamersgate now.
For example, last week, Dark Sector goes to 33% off on Gamersgate. And today, the exact same thing happens on Steam. Helldorado get's discounted to $14.99 on Steam from $19.99 and today Gamersgate drop the price of Helldorado by 50% to basically match the price on Steam (although now 4 cents cheaper than Steam).
Prepare the tin foil hats! And kittens. Lots of kittens.

Dark Sector was actually 33% off for a while, I actually looked at that either yesterday or the day before.
People, it makes perfect sense for Steam, GoG, GamersGate, Direct2Drive, Greehouse Games, Impulse, and any other digital download service to compete with each other! This is Capitalism 101. Businesses will compete to generate more sales of their products (even if, in this case, the products are exactly the same).

GOG is actually fairly small still, it would be a very interesting thing to see Steam actually try to compete with GOG because Steam is massive.
it's like why would goliath(steam) care about david(gog) at all? David is so tiny and is only popular with a handful of people, while goliath has a better approval rating than Arnold in Cali.

Just in case david (GOG) gets that one sweet shot, right between the eyes...

No it doesn't.
Why are you trying to ruin a perfectly good conspiracy theory that was just getting back on track ?

Maybe because I'm part of the conspiracy. Hehehe...

Oh...ok then. Carry on.

Yeah, for about a week on GamersGate, but it dropped to 33% off on Steam yesterday.
