seriously, the island is covered with generally small breasted women, it's not bad, it's not unattractive, but that's typically how it is, it's just that's how it is, and in Anime they are always over exaggerating the breast size of characters.

Perhaps, if you're living in 1960 or looking at 13 year olds =) But for the more mature Japanese woman, they're pretty much the same as any other country in terms of breast size distribution.

Hmmm... Something I forgot to take note of:
America: American needs follow a very simple hierarchy. First, there are the basic biological needs of food, water, and a livable environment. Second, there is the need for social acceptance by friends and/or family. Once the first two goals are met, the last and most important concern is the acquisition of as much money and material goods as possible. The pursuit of "higher" concerns is kept in the background, if it is ever acknowledged at all.
