Ok, I completely retract my previous statement. There is some hilarious stuff on /b/, funny wrong and funny random. However, there also is wrong wrong stuff there I never wish to see again. CP is inexcusably wrong wrong.

That's a lie. /co/ has lot's of porn threads, they aren't just as extreme as the other boards. Have you never lurked in a Wakfu thread? Posting 34 is a common rule.
They even have threads for certain fetishes like obese and farting.
But with everything else I can agree.
I also recomment /u/ and /lit/, but I ain't sure if that really touches anyone here.

The only time I ever go to 4chan is to refresh my Anime wallpaper, since I usually find a good amount of awesome ones I'd never think of looking for if I were looking for something on a specific site. I only do that once every couple of months or so tho.
Other than that, I leave it to Encyclopedia Dramatica or Knowyourmeme to keep me up on the comedy gold of 4chan without having to deal with any of the members myself. There are some legitimately funny things, but I don't want to have the stigma of being associated with it :P

4chan is an excellent argument as to why websites should have moderators.

They do have moderators though. However, they don't do a good job, as "Mods are asleep post CP!" will forever haunt my nightmares.
