Took me 3 RMAs to get them to replace it with another refurb'd.

Took me 3 RMAs to get them to replace it with another refurb'd.

It was having an odd and intermittent issue of devices on my pci express bus crashing
I'm not sure what tests they ran on it the first two times if anything past power up, but I kept getting the same board back with no change or new problems. (after the first return the onboard audio developed a high pitch whine)

Yeah, you have no real way of knowing what they do or if.
The experience did sour me to Asus. Their products are decent when they're working, but that was a nightmare.
It doesn't matter too much who you use, if you need to return a product you're going to get the run around on your dime.
The only somewhat pleasant RMA experience I've had was working with Corsair for headset replacement.
Both times have been quick and painless..
